EVA-MARIA PFANNER-MATIJEVIČ
Eva-Maria Pfanner was born in Feldkirch in 1991. She has a Master of Arts (concert cello) and is a certified personal trainer, health trainer and massage therapist.
Eva-Maria Pfanner took her first cello lessons and completed her preliminary studies at the Feldkirch Music School and the Vorarlberg State Conservatory. This was followed by a bachelor's degree at the Mozarteum University Salzburg in the class of Clemens Hagen, which she completed with distinction. She also regularly took part in the intensive weeks of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and other international masterclasses and benefited from intensive work with renowned teachers such as Valter Dešpalj, Jens Peter Maintz, Wolfgang Boettcher and many others. From 2013 to 2015, she was an academy member of the Bavarian State Orchestra and was able to gain her first orchestral experience under the direction of Kirill Petrenko. Eva-Maria Pfanner completed her master's degree with distinction in Claudius Popp's class at the renowned Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin.
In the meantime, she trained at the Medical Fitness Academy in Berlin in the areas of fitness, nutrition and massage therapy and passed all her exams with excellent marks. Since Spring 2017, Eva-Maria Pfanner has been working as a freelance health trainer and massage therapist under the name 'ffitissimo', primarily with professional musicians from all areas and age groups. With her extensive specialist knowledge, holistic approach, years of experience as a musician and her great passion for sport and health, Eva-Maria Pfanner can prevent, reduce and even heal painful musculoskeletal disorders in musicians. She is currently studying medicine and hopes to make even greater progress in the field of musicians' health in the future with the help of musicians' medicine.
